I have two very stubborn children. And I’m kind of proud of the fact that they are determined and resilient!
But there is a time when being stubborn becomes a problem. If stubbornness replaces acceptance of new ideas, then it is actually paralyzing. We don’t become more resilient, we become more close-minded.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it: Don’t be one-dimensionally stubborn. It’s ok to be stubborn until it’s clear you cannot or will not be accepting. Then it’s just bias and one dimensional thinking.
