Humans are so resistant to change. At times I am, and I certainly see it everywhere in our current geo-political climate and in companies addressing culture change. Some folks choose to fix their personal identity and narrative on a singular point in time, and stay there. It’s called a fixed-mindset and was coined by Carol Dweck, author and speaker.
As leaders, we need to adapt to change so we can not only plan for it, but lean into finding better ways. It takes courage and a lot of self-reflection and self-awareness. The more flexible you are in your personal life, the more you can lead with the courage to flex to your future.
Your mission to be a better human and better leader: Adapt as HUMANS and as LEADERS. We must.
Be kind along your journey and remember, you’ve got this!
