Sometimes the best ideas present themselves in a shower. But sometimes, it happens right outside of the shower.
My 6-year old came in to speak to me whilst I was showering and noticed water coming between the glass door seam. She left and came back with a large bath mat and two hand towels. As I was finishing, I watched her get busy and put the mat down first, then put one towel right beneath the seam where water was coming out and another towel down over the puddle of water that already accumulated over the 3 or so minutes.
As she went to work, I watched as this young child problem solved quietly (she’s not that quiet normally so it was a joy to behold) and effectively. Pan to the mother’s beaming face, and watch a grin spread from ear to ear.
