Sometimes I can’t shut down my desire to understand what drives people. It’s been in my wiring since working in marketing and branding and now leadership development and culture change. Whatever I do is always tied directly to understanding why we behave the way we do, and how we can be more open to motiving people or changing our behavior effectively.
At dinner I was talking to some folks who went to boarding school in Canada and the U.K. I was trying to imagine going off to school for five days a week without seeing my parents as early as the age of 8.
Of all the folks I know well or casually who’ve attended Boarding school, there is a common denominator among the men and women – they are resilient.
Your mission to achieve Superhumanness: Teach resilience. Practice it. Harness your own. No matter how your culture perceives the best way to learn it, it is the one thing that can help us power through life.
Be kind along the journey and remember, you got this!
