As I was looking through photos to post this quote, we started with this image and then I suddenly realized… wait a sec. They are all white people. And I didn’t even notice, nor would have noticed, if it weren’t for our times. So bias for me is still prevalent and I am Asian American.
It’s fascinating how bias impacts us. And so I say it’s super important to always be curious, question even our own motives. Why did we think it was okay to choose that photo? Thankfully Agent J found another image instead.
