It’s time to redefine risk. We say we want to jump into innovation and risk at work, but do we really mean it?
When I hear “calculated risk”… I think we don’t really mean it.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it: Define what risk means to you. Are you interested in safer bets or higher unknowns? Be clear about what you want and what’s important to you. Don’t try to assume it’s all equal risk. It’s not. And it feels disingenuous when it’s all lumped together.
