Remember the show Wheel of Fortune? Today I was thinking, am I on the wheel of misfortune?
2018 has kicked off to a rough start professionally. Yet, a few clients have stepped up their engagements so I know that for every action there is a reaction.
2017 was not a good start for political reasons. Yet, we published a book, got a new large client and dreamed big at a retreat in D.C. which included developing an App.
2016 was filled with the antics from a power play by an apprentice who had a lot to prove. Yet we had closure, and broadened our team with a client manager and additional facilitator.
Fortunately, I’ve been riding high in my personal and family life. Just not as high professionally. But I am still fortunate. And I mostly feel good because I am helping as many people as I can, even with a smile, a nudge, or a few words of encouragement.
Your mission to achieve Superhumanness: Lend a helping hand to those riding a wheel of misfortune. Your happiness may depend upon being there for others and focusing less on yourself.
