We like to celebrate and reward visionary leaders, like Steve Jobs. He certainly created revolutionary technology which I’m using to type this post. Yes I’m a fan of Apple.

And yet, any CEO making 271 times more than the average employee is simply wrong.

In fact, according to the article from Fortune, these top CEO’s take home… wait for it… five times more than the average 1%’er. 

Wow.

So how can we unite and create change that helps the middle class get back on our feet? We should be able to survive with one person or partner working to support a family – I say this because it’s too often the case now that one out of every couple is unemployed and we have to be able to ride out our search for a better career without the stress and pressure to have a paycheck or health insurance.

Freedom within the constraints of corporate America is diminishing ever more. Which is why the notion of downsizing our lives is pretty attractive!

Your mission, if you choose to accept it: Redesign your life so you have more freedom from expenses and financial constraints. Don’t let the company paycheck own you. You can choose to de-prioritize excessive stuff, and re-prioritize relationships.
