You may have heard the expression, sleep it off. Mostly referring to someone who may have had a little too much to drink.
The same goes with anger, irritation and impatience.
What are those triggers that cause you to reach a boiling point?
Your mission, if you choose to accept it: Sleep it off. If you can’t figure out what’s fueling your anger, it’s probably better to walk away. And if you don’t have 24 hours before saying something or sending that email, then give it at least an hour. It can wait. Better to be cautious.
