#RPCL Log Date February 5, 2017: #BeingHuman #TakeYourEmotionsHostage

At some point, enough is enough. We either become so desensitized to chaos and consider chaos normal, or we lose our mind. But this constant attack on our sense of peace cannot be healthy. We all need to find ways to process and heal.

I find I can sort of adapt to a pattern of chaos by the time I hear bad news at 1o am every morning, when I’m drinking second java boost and listening to NPR. This predictability actually helps me to strangely cope.

I am also finding ways to heal through writing, and focusing energy on coming together as a community.

What are you doing to heal from the stress of your every day?

Your mission, if you choose to accept it: Pledge to do one good thing for yourself this week to heal from stress of work and life imbalance. Take your emotions hostage and file them away for a day. Please share what’s on your mind. What’s the first thing you plan to do?
