I’ve been thinking a lot about how the media wants us to believe in absolutes. And while there are absolute truths and lies, or absolute right and wrong, there are also shades of right and wrong.
So what does that mean? There are backstories to everything. Just as divorce can get ugly, there are always two sides to a story. Even if one side seems more culpable, we don’t know what the everyday life was of that couple. What caused the relationship to fray in the first place? How long did it take?
There is always so much more to a story.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it: Remember there is always so much more to a story. Embrace shades of right and wrong instead of absolutes, even when it means you need to work harder to understand!
