Life is full of choices. I know, I know. This is a fairly privileged point of view. And yet even the most privileged can make bad choices.
So what do we do with our freedom, to the extent that we have some freedom to move about without a tether? And what do we do when we are bound by invisible chains of responsibility, or tied to our work because of income to pay bills, or medical insurance to cover health costs for our family?
What do we do when busy takes over? And we can’t see beyond the end of our nose, lest our eyes cross and our heads hurt from the overwhelming amount of information and decisions to make in the world?
Your mission, if you choose to accept it: Don’t let busy take over your life. You still have some control. Start with setting your mind to belief by having some faith in humankind. Then look away from the ground and choose a new adventure. Look up at the stars as a reminder that we are so small and still make great impact. Pay attention to your surroundings. Contribute to this world beyond a selfish outcome.
Be kind. Be safe. Be appropriate. Now go!
