How deeply do you feel responsible for others, the loved ones in your life? And how deeply do you feel responsible for strangers?
I tend to feel a lot of responsibility for the people close in my life. Not only loved ones, but also for my colleagues and clients. I want to see influencers open their hearts to influence for the right reasons, be they leaders or young managers coming into their own. I feel a sense of responsibility to leaders at ever level, to ensure they care deeply about humanity, not just themselves.
And I believe that we (privileged and educated) are responsible for our collective actions as a society and that the success for future generations is inevitably on us.
I feel deeply responsible for humanity, in all its various forms I suppose. Sometimes I wonder if it’s easier to just be a narcissist.
Have we lost sight of that collective bond, success beyond self and inner circle?
