It was good to catch up with an old friend and work colleague while in London.
We had a brief conversation where we reminisced about our account in Paris, and all of the PM work we used to do, and then shifted to our roles today. He confessed that he doesn’t get into the details anymore. He prefers to delegate. I sighed. Same here.
And so the idea of digging into every weed of my business is so daunting. Just as it is to actually plan our annual budgets at home and figure out tax season and what camps the girls need and what we need to do to hunker down to pay off any outstanding debt before we sink even deeper. Trying to manage the parts of my brain that are big picture and constantly driving forward with the parts that actually need to slow down and plan in the minutiae feels a bit schizo. Devil’s in the details!
