Climbing Down the Corporate Latter for Happiness “DownclimbForHappiness

I was eating lunch with friends last week and we were discussing what it means to go after a dream. Amy was saying that she was making less money when taking her dream job as a celebrity in public service and so was her brother who took his dream job as a lawyer in public service.

“Great”, she said to her brother. “Why are we climbing down the corporate latter for happiness?”

Sometimes we feel we are taking steps down to pursue our passion. But are we really?

If we redefine success as measured by personal fulfillment and not measured by money or stuff, I think we can start to find hope in achieving a greater success than ever imagined, corporate latter be damned.
