Conflicted, Justified, and Motivated

Hi, Agent S1 here. It’s been a while.

My community is going through a lot of emotions right now. Me too.

First fear, then anger that I was fearful. Fear is such a manipulator. And I hate being manipulated. OMG, did I just say “hate”? Help!

… and things like that.

I’m not a religious person, and I’m typically skeptical, a little wary even, of words and concepts like “morals”, “dogma”, “doctrine”, etc.

I am sensitive to judgment through value systems. I prickle when I get the impression that others are imposing their systems on me, and try hard not to impose mine. So I feel conflicted about criticizing people for reasons like This just isn’t right, You shouldn’t behave that way, Don’t you know better than that? How COULD you?!, etc. It feels like I’m imposing my moral system of what’s “right.”

Well guess what? There are times when it’s not about what I believe to be right, it’s about human rights. Not dogma, not rhetoric, not religious doctrine. Basic Human Rights.

I’m not longer conflicted… I’m motivated.

Yes, we have something in the works.
