Today I was explaining to co-workers the reason predictability is important for certain types of social media.
When you are young and hoping to become an expert, it’s probably time to sharpen your focus. What do you want to stand for? What do you care most about? How can you start to share expert opinions instead of channeling someone else’s?
At the very least, if you are retweeting someone else’s content, it never hurts to have a narrative as to why.
Although my passion these days is How I met your Mother (and surviving your workplace!), I have a work persona that I can’t divulge here. But it’s one that is my lens for all things twitter, google+, tumblr, and blog posts.
The more you start to build content that is consistent, the higher potential of having readership.
