Culture Before Business

Four of us, a few years back, made a pinky pact to create change in corporate America and around the world, and we formed a company to help make that change.

Two years later, with several projects and one big huge beast of a project, we are now looking at ourselves and each other, and slowly discovering that our utopia, our culture of freedom, hasn’t quite mapped back to the right business model – at least one that ensures seamless and consistent business growth.

For partners to pick and choose projects, it’s a tough model unless there is always at least one person (maybe two) who are consistently representing the company values.

And, what are those values?

So now we are at an interesting point in our maturation process of figuring out that we better define our culture pretty quickly. Otherwise, the politics of trust will get in our way.
