Yes, I have been there and done that. I’ve been down the road of least resistance, where it’s easier to just get ‘er done than it is to help someone through their mistakes. Maybe it’s time to change that paradigm and reteach ourselves what mentoring means at work and in life. As a parent, I am faced with it every single day. Even when I have no patience left, I tell myself it’s the right thing to do.
