Heartbreak comes in so many forms. I feel some sense of heartbreak for my mom right now, who lost her sister recently to cancer. I also feel it whenever I wrap up a client project because I give my whole heart, and there is a bitter sweet ending to seeing their success carry on without me. I love that it does, it’s just hard to say good bye.
And I have felt it in so many other human forms, from the loss of friendships to death or (yes even) political tribalism, the loss of pets, the loss of clients… The list goes on.
So the best way to cope? Breathe through the loss and heartbreak and remember, this (agony) too shall pass. Optimism for life is a choice.
Your mission to be a better human and better leader: Breathe through every heartbreak.
Be kind along your journey and remember, you got this!
