As a consultant, there are things I’m clearly sure about. I know what workload I have for the next few months. I know how much I need to do on Sunday to get a head start for the week. I also know what I need to do to continue cultivating a pipeline of work.
And then there are things I’m not sure about. Will we make our numbers for the quarter and year? Will we be ahead or behind of the last the three years growth for Q3? Can we continue to grow outside of our own limited views? Will we be able to build a bigger team?
Your mission, if you choose to accept it: Know where you stand, even if you don’t know everything. Confront the unknowns. Decide whether they are worth the worry and nod. We can minimize fear and a personal resistance to change. #KnowWhereYouStand #YouCannotKnowEverything #ConfrontUnknowns
