We buy our lives to a large extent. We purchase debt on a mortgage to live in our dream home or transition home. We buy the stuff that fits within that space. We subscribe to services to support our high tech and high fashion lifestyles. We pay for rent and borrow money for college. We invest in the things we’re supposed to for our children to be successful.
Eventually, you wake up one day and realize after working your tail off… you don’t really own anything anymore. The budget owns you.
