Our ability to size up others is an important survival mechanism. And yet we tend to take a fairly narrow stance when we judge others – usually based on our context, our experiences, our frame of learning.
It takes a lot of self-awareness and humility to realize that our biases are based on our learned beliefs, and we rarely challenge our own thinking. Time to change that. A growth mindset is all about shifting the paradigm from what feels”normal” to questioning everything. It takes discomfort to grow.
Your mission to becoming a better human and better leader: Break boxes in order to break biases.
Be kind along your journey and remember, you got this!
